Cloughaneely Extend Junior Miscellaneous Dominance
Cloughaneely Marching Band claimed the Ulster Junior Miscellaneous title at the Ulster Fleadh in Warrenpoint on Sunday, booking their place at next month’s All-Ireland Fleadh in Belfast.

As the only competitors in the section, the Donegal band secured their spot in Belfast and continued an impressive period of success in the Ulster competition.
The victory is Cloughaneely’s sixth Ulster Junior Miscellaneous title since 2010 and their fourth consecutive provincial crown, having also won in 2023, 2024 and 2025.
The band also lifted the title in 2014 before adding further victories in 2019 and their current run of four successive championships.
Having established themselves as the dominant force in the section in recent years, Cloughaneely will now look to carry that form into the All-Ireland Fleadh in Belfast next month.
They will face experienced band St Kevins from Wexford and new comers Dun Na Sí Marching Band of Moate. Chloich Cheann Fhaola will aim for an unprecedented four consecutive All Ireland titles.
