Ballycastle to Host the 2027 Ulster Fleadh
Ballycastle has been confirmed as the host town for the 2027 Ulster Fleadh, bringing one of the province’s largest traditional music festivals to the north Antrim coast.
The announcement marks a significant milestone for the town and the surrounding area, with thousands of musicians, singers, dancers and visitors expected to attend the week-long celebration of Irish traditional culture.
The Ulster Fleadh showcases the very best of traditional Irish music, song, dance and language, featuring competitions across all age groups alongside a packed programme of concerts, sessions, céilís, street entertainment and family-friendly events.
Hosting the festival represents a major achievement for the local organising committee, volunteers and community groups who worked to secure the prestigious event. It is also expected to provide a substantial boost to tourism and the local economy, with accommodation providers, restaurants, cafés and businesses throughout Ballycastle and the wider Causeway Coast area likely to benefit from the influx of visitors.
Further details, including the dates for the 2027 Ulster Fleadh, competition entries and the full programme of events, are expected to be announced next year.
