Mullingar Town Band Clinches National Title
The Mullingar Town Band has secured the top spot at the 2024 Irish Marching Association Championships, held at St. Loman’s GAA. Their dynamic performance, centered around an Elvis Presley medley, earned them first place against strong competition from bands in Arklow, Portarlington, and Tallaght.
This victory marks a significant achievement following their earlier second-place finish, as they refined their show to perfection. Directed by Kim Magee, the band continues its success, having also won a Bronze Category Award at the World Championships in Germany earlier this year.
