Three Leinster marching bands have plenty to celebrate following strong performances at the 2025 Leinster Fleadh, with St Kevin’s and K & S, all securing places at the upcoming All-Ireland Fleadh.
St Kevin’s Win Third Consecutive Junior Miscellaneous Title
St Kevin’s Marching Band, based in Ferns, Co. Wexford, took home first place in the Junior Miscellaneous (U18) category, marking their third Leinster title in a row. Their continued success reflects the band’s steady development and commitment over recent years. With a growing reputation, they now look ahead to the All-Ireland competition later this summer.
K & S Take Junior Accordion Title
Meanwhile, the K & S Accordion Band, based in Meath, won the Junior Accordion section — their first Leinster win in this category since 2022. The band had competed in the senior section for the last two years winning the Senior All Ireland in 2023 and coming second in 2024. This year they have opted to go back to the junior section with a younger band.
