Junior Accordion Section
K & S Accordion Band—will be back in the junior accordion section after an impressive run in the seniors. This Meath-based ensemble claimed the Senior Accordion Leinster title two years running in 2023 and 2024 at Wicklow Town and went on to win the All‑Ireland Senior Accordion in 2023.
Junior Miscellaneous Section
There are two competitors in the junior miscellaneous section
Baile Bhlainseir, Blanchardstown
Representing Castleknock/Balbriggan area, Baile Bhlainseir has competed regularly in the Miscellaneous (under‑18) marching band section at provincial fleadhanna. They last won the Leinster Fleadh title in 2019 and have since rebuilt since the coivd years.
St Kevin’s Marching Band, Ferns, Co. Wexford
Formed only a few years ago, this up‑and‑coming band earned the Leinster Junior Miscellaneous title the last two years, securing their place at the All‑Ireland Fleadh. This year they are aiming for a third consecutive title. They narrowly missed out at All‑Ireland—finishing runners‑up in Mullingar and Wexford last year. The band have been improving each year and this momentum and ambition, they’ll be aiming not just for Leinster again, but for an All Ireland title.
