Junior Miscellaneous
Cloich Cheann Fhaola Junior Band is eager to defend their Ulster title, which they won for the first time after rejoining the Fleadh competitions in 2023. They also claimed the All-Ireland title last year and are determined to replicate that success this year. The band has had a busy year, including a standout performance at Disneyland Paris, where they delighted audiences with renditions of popular Disney songs. While their performance on Sunday will likely feature more traditional music, there’s a chance some Disney apnga might make an appearance during the parade.

Senior Accordion
St. Catherine’s Accordion Band from Killybegs has had an eventful year, highlighted by their long-awaited St. Patrick’s Day performance in New York, delayed by four years due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Fresh off their victory in the Donegal Fleadh , the band is now aiming for their first Ulster title. This would also set them up for a chance at their first ever All-Ireland title in two weeks. The band last competed at the All-Ireland Fleadh in 2009, securing second place in the Junior section behind K & S Accordion Band, with Buncrana Accordion Band finishing third.

Pipe Bands
The Letterkenny Pipe Band is set to make a strong return at the Ulster Fleadh 2024, after narrowly missing out on consecutive titles last year to Clonoe Independent Pipe Band from Tyrone. The band previously won the Ulster title in 2022 and aims to reclaim their crown.

St. Joseph’s Pipe Band from County Down is returning to the competition for the first time since 2019. The band had an impressive run, winning three consecutive Ulster titles from 2017 and the All-Ireland title in 2018, only to narrowly lose it in 2019. They are keen to reclaim the Ulster title and set the stage for another All-Ireland campaign.

After the competitions, all bands will participate in a parade through the town center at 2:00 pm, where they will perform for large crowds in Dromore.
