This year in the Junior Miscellaneous there were two competitors but standard of the two band were very different. The Blanchards town band a new developing band only created in 2017 and attended their second All Ireland Fleadh put on a courageous performance for such a new band. Their music was very good and if their drill was a bit better they could gave challenged the experienced band a bit more but runner up was an excellent result for this band. 
This year’s winner put on an excellent performance and it was one of the highlights in the junior sections. Cloich Cheann Fhaola were excellent in every aspect of their performance from music, drill, drums and even the drum major. One of this year’s standout performances.
After the results the band then marched right through Drogheda to the thousands who came to cheer the All Ireland Champions on.
The band will return home tonight for a massive homecoming for both their bands at 7pm. Congrats to you all!
