Yesterday there was an interesting pipe competition which caused controversy again with many people thinking the wrong decision was made. The trophy went back to Connacht for the first time since 2016.
The Batafada band put on a good performance to win another All Ireland. History really repeated it self with the result a replica of 2012 when Longstone attempted to get back to back All Ireland’s but lost out to the Batafada band.
Last year’s champions will rightly be upset after they put on an excellent performance and many neutrals didn’t agree with the result.
Only the Batafada Bands took part in the parade they were the last band and entertained a large crowd of people at the gig rig for ten minutes.
