All Ireland Marching Band Competition Time, Dates and Venue Confirmed

This morning the Fleadh Cheoil confirmed that the All Ireland Fleadh Marching Band competition will take place on the 9th of August.

As previously reported in March by Marching Bands Ireland the venue was also confirmed today as the iconic Titanic Slipways.

The pipe band competition will take place at 12pm with all other marching band sections at 2pm.

There has been no confirmation about the parade details at this time although Marching Bands Ireland understands there are logistical issues with its organisation. All parades in Northern Ireland have to be approved by the Parades Commission and currently no submissions have been made to them yet. Fleadh Cheoil have been contacted and we are waiting a response.
