St Patrick’s Day Parades 2026 – County‑by‑County

Welcome to our quick‑reference guide for Marching Bands Ireland. This list covers parades taking place on 17 March 2026 across the island of Ireland, arranged by county. Each entry notes the start time and the marching bands confirmed to participate. 

County Antrim

Belfast – 13:00: Major Sinclair Memorial Pipe Band and Imperial Guards. Aghagallon – 11:30: Clonoe Independent Pipe Band marches with St Mary’s GAC parade. Randalstown – 12:30: St Patrick’s Accordion Band (Corran).

Other Antrim parades – bands TBC.

County Armagh

Armagh city – Morning: St Jarlath’s Independent Pipe Band, Thomas Clarke Republican Flute Band, Eire Nua Flute Band, St Patrick’s Accordion Band, Lambeg Drums & Fifes, Banna Piob na nGael, Recycled Rhythms, Rose of Armagh Accordion Band, Shankill Shepherds Flute Band, Armagh Community Church Choir and Conway Accordion Band.

Lurgan – 11:30: Banna Piob na nGael. Blackwatertown – 12:00: St Jarlath’s Pipe Band.

County Derry

Dungiven – 14:30: Approximately 25 bands, including Sarsfields Accordion Band, St Patrick’s Accordion Band, St Joseph’s Pipe Band, St Patrick’s Flute Band and many other accordion and flute bands.

Derry city – 13:00: bands TBC.

Gortrighey (Limavady) – Morning/afternoon: Pride of Erin Accordion Band and Sons of Ireland Flute Band. Loup (Magherafelt) – 10:30: St Patrick’s Flute Band.

County Down

County Tyrone

Dungannon (town centre) – 15:00: Tom Clarke Memorial Band, Banna Piob na nGael, South Derry Accordion Band, Naomh Padraig Flute Band, Brantry Pipe Band, Cloughfin Pipe Band, Clonoe Independent Pipe Band and St Patrick’s Accordion Band (Corran).

Strabane – 14:00: Strabane Brass Band, Strabane St Patrick’s Day Band, Strabane Memorial Flute Band and John Bready Memorial Flute Band.

Omagh – 15:00: four bands TBC.

County Fermanagh

Enniskillen – 15:30: “Shamrocks & Shared Stories” parade with community floats and local marching bands; specific band names have not been announced.

County Louth

Dundalk – 13:00: Carlingford Pipe Band. Ardee – 15:00: Ardee Concert Band leads the parade; St Joseph’s Pipe Band (Longstone) also makes an appearance.

Drogheda – 12:00: Drogheda Brass Band and Lourdes Brass Band join the parade.

County Dublin

Dublin city – 12:00: Campo Verde High School Coyote Pride Marching Band (Arizona), Coppell High School Marching Band (Texas), Watertown High School “Gosling” Marching Band (Wisconsin), Cedar Rapids Metro Marching Band (Iowa), Pendleton Heights Marching Arabians (Indiana), South Jones High School Marching Band (Mississippi), Morrison’s Academy Pipe Band (Perthshire), Clondalkin Youth Band (Dublin), University of Illinois “Marching Illini” and Ohio State University Marching Band.

Tallaght – 13:30: Tallaght Marching Band leads its home parade.

County Kildare

Celbridge – 16:00: Ohio State University Marching Band, with a pre‑parade performance at 14:30.

County Offaly

Tullamore – 11:30: National Ambulance Service Pipes & Drums band (NAS) leads the parade; Mullingar Town Band also performs.

Clara – 12:30: Clara Town Band marches through the town with Mullingar Town Band. Edenderry – 12:30: bands TBC. Banagher – 15:00: bands TBC.

Rhode – 10:00: bands TBC.

County Cork

Cork city – 13:00: McKinney High School “Royal Pride” Marching Band (Texas), DC Everest Senior High Marching Band (Wisconsin) and Batala (samba drum ensemble).

County Waterford

Waterford city – 13:00–15:00: City of Waterford Brass offers a noon concert ahead of the parade; the Absurdist Pipe Band joins the procession.

County Galway

Galway city – 11:30: bands TBC. Moycullen – 14:00: Galway’s St Patrick’s Brass Band. Other Galway towns – parades take place in Athenry, Ballinasloe, Clifden, Craughwell, Gort, Kinvara, Loughrea, Oranmore, Oughterard, Portumna, Roundstone and Tuam; bands TBC.

County Sligo

Sligo town – 12:00: Sligo Jazz Orchestra and Sligo Concert Band provide live music along the route.

County Wexford

Wexford town – 10:00–12:00: Wexford Pride group marches behind Bloco Garman (drumming ensemble). Bunclody – Afternoon: Naomh Caoimhín contae Loch Garman.

County Donegal

Falcarragh – 15:30: Banna Ceoil Cloich Cheann Fhaola (senior and junior sections) perform before and after Mass, then lead the parade. Dunfanaghy – midday: Banna Ceoil Cloich Cheann Fhaola participates. Dungloe – 15:30: Dungloe Senior & Junior Band. Killybegs – around 15:00: St Catherine’s Band. Meenacross – 09:00: Maghery Band Academy. Arranmore (Árainn Mhór) – Time TBC: Arranmore Pipe Band. Creeslough – Time TBC: Creeslough band. Letterkenny – Time TBC: Letterkenny Pipe Band.

County Kilkenny

Kilkenny city – 13:00: University of Illinois Marching Illini, Ohio State University Marching Band and Campo Verde High School Marching Band are expected to perform during the festival parade.

County Limerick

Limerick city – 12:00: Parade with the theme “Legends of Limerick” featuring bands from the 54th International Band Championship: Brigade of the Irish Defence Forces, CBS Pipe Band, St Mary’s Fife & Drum Band (Limerick), Golden Eagles Pathfinder Drum Corps (Ghana), Banna Chluain Meala, Redemptorist Centre of Music Concert Band, Clondalkin Youth Band, Mullingar Town Band, Campo Verde High School Coyote Pride Marching Band, South Jones High School Band, City of Limerick Pipe Band, Boherbuoy Brass and Reed Band, Hammonds Brass Band (Yorkshire) and McKinney High School Royal Pride Band & Marquettes.

County Kerry

Killarney – 14:00: Community parade with floats and local performers; bands TBC.

County Westmeath

Athlone – 12:30: Parade along Magazine Road to Golden Island; no marching bands announced.

Mullingar – 15:00: Mullingar Town Band leads the town parade.

Moate – 13:30: Parade led by Moate Comhaltas Ceoltóirí Éireann;

Castlepollard (North Westmeath) – 17:00: Evening parade featuring Mullingar Town Band.

County Meath

K & S Accordion Band will be performing at Athboy at 12:30pm, in the Navan parade at 2pm and Slane at 3:30pm.
